North Carolina became the latest state to allow players to make bets on their favorite teams and sporting events on March 11. The North Carolina State Lottery Commission announced eight legal operators including DraftKings, FanDuel and ESPN Bet. North Carolina is expected to generate about $100 million annually by the fifth year of operation.
