Power soccer is played four vs four and uses power wheelchairs with guardrails. The game is meant to be for those with disabilities that would prevent them from playing traditional soccer. For players like 11-year-old Saraih Newsome, it’s been an opportunity to make new friends. Every week you can play power soccer at the Christenberry Recreation Center in Knoxville from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday.
