The IHSAA has approved full recognition for Boys Volleyball and Girls Wrestling beginning in the next school year. After being added to the emerging sport process in 2022, the state now has over 1,400 students involved in girls wrestling at 177 different schools. The Head Coach of the Reitz wrestling program, Scott Ferguson, says gaining full recognition will only help the sport’s growth.
