PWHL Boston is one of six cities in the U.S. and Canada that will be home to the newly formed Professional Women’s Hockey League. The PHF, which resided in Boston for eight years, was disbanded in June along with the rest of its league, Premiere Hockey Federation, as the result of a buyout by retired women’s tennis star Billie Jean King and Mark Walter, who owns the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB)
