The Bakersfield Sports Village will be closed Friday as crews make the finishing touches for Saturday’s “Boots in the Park” country music concert. Event organizers are expecting heavy traffic near the intersection of Ashe Rd. and Taft Highway and other nearby roads starting at 3 p.m. Saturday.
