Alabama High School Athletic Association approved winter sports alignments for 2024-25 and 2025-26 on Thursday, March 14. The classification alignments were set for the sports of boys and girls’ basketball, boys and girl’s indoor track, boys & girls’ wrestling, and boys. Covington County teams will be in Classes 1A through 6A and 8 areas in Class 7A for basketball the next two seasons.
