The Laval Rouge et Or defeated the Queen’s Gaels 77-71 to capture its first gold medal in the program’s history in the final of the 2024 GreenShield U SPORTS Final 8 Men’s Basketball Championship. With the win, the Rouge and Or becomes the first French-language university and only the third RSEQ team to capture the national banner. The OUA champions still haven’t said their last word.
