Assistant Professor Tracy Hookway has received funding from the National Institutes of Health and other sources to create 2D and 3D models of human cardiac cells and investigate their functions. In 2023, Koh received a five-year, $500,000 National Science Foundation CAREER Award to explore the role of autonomic neural stimulation on the function of engineered cardiac tissues.
