In the March, 2024 edition of Scientific American Harvard Professor Naomi Oreskes wrote on the False Promise of Carbon Capture. She concluded that yearly costs, extrapolated from Iceland's Orea plant, would be about $6 trillion to capture the annual U.S. output of CO2.
