On the afternoon of Monday, April 8, a solar eclipse will pass over the United States, with the path of totality stretching from Texas to Maine. Virginians will be able to see the sun almost entirely covered by the moon. There will also be telescopes with solar filters available, provided by the Richmond Astronomical Society.
