The Texas Science and Engineering Fair took place at Texas A&M University on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23. YISD Valle Verde senior Victoria Mascorro took first place in the Engineering Technology: Statics and Dynamics category. Mascorro is among the 12 students from the state fair who will compete at the International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.
