La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI) has won funding through the Prebys Foundation’s “Prebys Research Heroes” Program. The program celebrates female scientists pursuing “high-risk, high-reward” research projects. LJI scientists study the immune system from every angle. This research is an important step in developing vaccines and life-saving therapies against ovarian cancer.
