The Maryland State Department of Education has announced six finalists for the 2024 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) the state finalists represent the most outstanding teachers Maryland’s counties has to offer and serve as both a model and an inspiration to students and fellow teachers.
