Helen Sharman Visits Iqra Primary Academy in Bradford

Helen Sharman, now 60, visited Iqra Primary Academy in Bradford. She was the first Briton in space to visit the Russian Mir Space station. In 1991, the astronaut, who originally hails from Yorkshire, spent eight days in space.
