Valle Verde Early College High School senior Victoria Mascorro took top honors at the 2024 Texas Science and Engineering Fair. Mascorro won first place in the category of Engineering Technology: Statics and Dynamics and was called, "Exploring Eutectic Alloys in Microgravity: Advancing Space-Based Manufacturing through Controlled Freezing"
