We used Prolific’s screening system to identify participants who had completed the COVID-19 primary vaccine series at the time of our study and did not obtain any vaccine dose in September, October or November 2022. In Main, participants were randomly assigned to one of the three messages tested in our third RCT. The results were deemed non-human subject research by the Institutional Review Board at Carnegie Mellon University (reference number 21-000268)
