The application to redevelop Melbourn Science Park has been given the go ahead. The developer behind the plans said the existing buildings were “no longer fit for purpose” and claimed that without change the science park could “fall into managed decline” Objectors to the plans raised concerns about the increased height of the new buildings, including a six-storey car park.
