a group of 23 eighth graders from Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh showcased their scientific prowess at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) Region 7 competition in February. First-place accolades went to Matthew Bauer, Thomas Bird, Willis Ennis, Peter Koble, Victoria Lee, Andrew Lesnefsky, Kian Miller, Eve Pellathy, One Sihlangu, and Alexandra Swift for their exceptional projects.
