Contrary to the long-held belief that Alzheimer’s results solely from aging or genetic predisposition, a surprising environmental factor has emerged, hidden in the very air we breathe. Researchers from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) conducted a study exposing mice and laboratory-cultivated nerve cells to pollutants commonly found in car exhaust and industrial waste.
