Since the 1990s, Yoshiki has given his talent and money to philanthropic projects. In the years since, he has helped provide relief, aid and donations for other disasters that have affected in Asia, Australia, South America and the United States. On Jan. 16, Yoshishiki auctioned the crystal Kawai CR-40N piano that accompanied him in the studio.
