Expecting moms want to give their babies - and themselves - every chance at a healthy start. But concerns continue nationwide over how many women die from pregnancy-related complications and how many babies are born premature. Dr. Heather Morrison and Dr. Kimberly Brey, both of Topeka’s Lincoln Center OB/GYN, say those risk factors include obesity, chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure that aren’t controlled.
