Japan’s Ministry of Health told stores to dispose of all stock of Benikji ColesteHelp, NaishiHelp Plus Cholesterol and Natto-kinase Sarasara Tsubu GOLD. All three supplements contain “beni koji” - rice fermented with red yeast. Scientists say fermentation process can produce unsafe levels of citrinin.
