Royal College of Nursing president Sheila Sobrany is among 10 leaders and patient advocates who have signed an open letter arguing that the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill should be scrapped. The co-signed letter described the scheme as “unconscionable on medical and humanitarian grounds” and that it risked the mental and physical wellbeing of asylum seekers.
