Rotary International has allocated $2 million to projects aimed at reducing child and maternal mortality in Nigeria over three years. The president of the international group disclosed this during a community health engagement at LEA Primary School, Kuchingoro, Abuja, on Saturday. Maternal mortality refers to the death of a woman during pregnancy, childbirth, or within 42 days after giving birth, a crucial indicator of the overall health and well-being of women.
