Health professionals have advised pregnant women with noncommunicable diseases to register for antenatal care in teaching hospitals where they can get specialist care . The gynaecologists noted that pregnancy among women with these health conditions is associated with high risk, especially during delivery . Women with hypertension, diabetes, and heart diseases before pregnancy must not use primary health centres for their ANC to reduce complications during and after birth.
