Governor Gavin Newsom’s $6.4 billion mental health bond measure is nail-bitingly close with 50.1% of voters in favor and 49.9% opposed. At that time, there were approximately 13,000 votes, in a state with 22 million registered voters, standing in between the proposition passing and failing. The proposition is one of the only remaining too-close-to-call races relevant to Los Angeles County voters.
