Folake Adegboye graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kennesaw State University in 2014. When she first applied to medical schools, she was rejected. In 2023, out of 52,577 applicants, only 22,981, or 44%, matriculated. She hopes to build a support system for other diverse students.
