Reps of the Health Coalition Aotearoa (HCA) wrote to David Seymour on Monday requesting an urgent meeting so they can plead the case for keeping the programme. Ka Ora, Ka Ako was introduced by Labour in 2019 and has been allocated about $160 million a year to operate. Professor Boyd Swinburn said the decision raises doubts about its future.
