The new Horwich Health Hub has been a much-debated development on Market Street i since it was first proposed in 2016. Documents put before Bolton Council show that the authority had approved funding for £650,000 for the car park. The finished hub will be made up of two GP surgeries, a pharmacy and specialist clinics for mental health and physiotherapy.
