In Lebanon, international donors are supporting a network of government-supported primary health care centers to test for diabetes. In Kenya, a new national insurance law aims to make health insurance mandatory and accessible both to unemployed Kenyans as well as to the estimated xxxxx refugees that have been living in the country for 30 years or more. The issue of integration is particularly relevant when it comes to noncommunicable diseases, which are not always yet widely available in many low- and middle-income countries.
