This fall, East Alabama Health is embarking on a $32 million expansion project aimed at enhancing critical care services for families facing medical crises. The expansion will add three floors to the West Pavilion of the Intensive Care Unit (EAMC) The pressing need for more critical care beds became apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
