The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has identified high lead levels in several ground cinnamon products. Signs and symptoms may include headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in activity level and anemia. The FDA recommended recalls this week of ground cinnamon from six distributors.
