Wegovy is one of a handful of weight loss treatments to skyrocket in popularity over the last year. But that may not translate to wider insurance coverage of the weekly injection drug from Novo Nordisk and similar obesity treatments just yet. At the very least, some plans will take notice of wegovy's new approval and start assessing whether to cover them when they next update their formularies.
