Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs is trying to address mental health concerns before kids reach the point of needing hospital-level care. Doctors say kids mental health often gets worse during the end of the school year in April and May, as well. In 2023, Children's Colorado saw almost 10,000 mental health patients in its System of Care.
