More than 4,000 school-aged children in Croydon responded to the council’s first survey of this kind that aimed to gain insights about their health and wellbeing. They responded to an array of questions on topics covering mental health, diet, exercise, sleep, relationships, and their general wellbeing. Most children from 44 primary and 29 secondary schools in year groups 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 completed the survey anonymously with the support of teachers or adults responsible for their education.
