Health officers from all nine Bay Area counties and others are urging the public to be up to date on measles vaccinations. The message is particularly important for anyone traveling internationally out of the Bay Area's three major airports. Most cases reported this year have been among children 12 months and older who had not received the mesles mumps rubella vaccine.
