The Scottish SPCA and Police Scotland carried out a joint operation in the Kilmarnock area on Tuesday morning. A litter of puppies were seized from the unlicensed and “low-welfare” puppy trade. They are now receiving veterinary care at one of the SSPCA’s animal rescue and rehoming centres.
