A DRAMATIC CALL FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE Associated Press journalist Mstyslav Chernov accepted the best documentary Oscar for the searing “20 Days in Mariupol”. The film, a first-person account of the early days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, was a joint production of the AP and PBS’ “Frontline,” with awards going to Chernov, producer and editor Michelle Mizner and producer Raney Aronson-Rath.
