On Friday, signs remained on the front entrance of the Westwood Mall in Marquette Township saying it was closed. Business owners say the power at the mall has been shut off by the Marquette Board of Light and Power because of a past-due bill. In November 2023, the Marshalltown Mall in Iowa reportedly closed after an electric bill was left unpaid for 10 months.
