Deputies with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office responded just after 1:30 p.m. on March 21 to Nick’s Food Mart in Bethel. They discovered that several suspects had entered the store armed with guns and their faces covered. Tairina Lavelle Spellman was identified as one of the suspects.
