MLVT can impose administrative fines based on the actual number of foreign employees without work permits if fewer than five are found. For enterprises with five or more foreign employees, a maximum administrative fine of KHR63 million (USD3,136) may be imposed. Repeated offences could lead to triple fines. The new Company Law will come into force on 1 July 2024.
