Powerhouse Energy Group makes about 2.5 tons of hydrogen every day from 40 tons of waste. They use a special machine called a kiln that heats up the waste, transforming it into synthetic gas and leftover residue. The synthetic gas is then cleaned up and the hydrogen is separated to be used in other processes.
