Cook County/Grand Marais Economic Development Authority (EDA) and the Northland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announced the launch of a Promise Act grant opportunity for northeastern Minnesota business owners. The competitive Promise Act Grant opportunity, approved during the 2023 legislative session, is designed to help businesses and communities who have experienced economic hardship during the pandemic. At least $10,000 but no more than $100,000 may receive a $10,000 grant.
