SIG has submitted an outline planning application for up to 596,500 sqft of business accommodation on the location which is bounded by the M1 motorway. It will target companies in advanced manufacturing, logistics and other industrial sectors. SIG says it has the potential to support up to 1,700 jobs and signals a departure from traditional industrial schemes.
