BDO surveyed 500 mid-sized businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk to find out what their top concerns were for the next six months . More than half of business owners said cost pressures were a significant challenge, with rent, energy bills and the cost of borrowing making it hard to grow . Half said they believed the government should be doing more to help resolve ongoing staff and skills shortages .
