The City Council this week directed staffers to look into providing a limited license to local home decor company Pacific Stranded that would allow the business to use the classic, 1960s-era Hermosa Beach logo. Staffers will also look into developing a citywide policy for future requests. The move comes afer Hermosana Beach sent a cease-and-desist letter to Pacific Beached in January, demanding the company stop using the city’s seal, logo and insignia on its products
