South Florissant Road is seeing a new day with women at the forefront. It has become one of the hotspots for entrepreneurs following the unrest in Ferguson in 2014. The mayor also has her sights on expanding Plaza at 501 and bringing in a grocery store so the area will no longer be a food desert.
