The Bookies is now in a stand-alone building at the corner of South Holly Street and East Evans Avenue, after 40 years on East Mississippi Avenue. The new store is on the site of an old fireplace store, which has allowed them to create more cozy reading opportunities, according to Nicole Sullivan.
