Connecticut’s State Comptroller Sean Scanlon kicked-off the event with a personal story about a small business and his mom who owns one. Keynote speakers at the sold-out event included local legislators as well as business leaders with an emphasis on women owned and minority owned businesses. The state’s small-business owners came together for the second annual Connecticut Small Business Summit on Monday.
