The city of Charleston is hosting a small business opportunity expo to help small businesses grow, expand and thrive. The event will focus on under-represented, disadvantaged, veteran, minority and women-owned businesses. Minority and Women-Owned Business Office Manager Ruth Jordan says they want to focus on these groups because they know how important access to opportunity is.
